Acts chapter 25 - questions for discussion

Introduction
Paul had now been in prison for several years.
Festus was now the governor. The high priest and the chief men of the Jews had not waned in their desire to have Paul killed. He had bviously not been quiet all this time.

Festus attempted to do the Jews a favour by trying to have Paul sent back to Rome but the strength of Paul's own argument prevented this (Acts 25:8-12)

In fact, the force of Paul's argument and the anointing on his life brought him before Kings (Acts 25:13-27)

Question
1. what do you think was the real reason for Festus bringing Paul before Agrippa and Bernice?
