Derek Prince Goes Home At 88

Author and biblical scholar, Derek Prince, passed away in his sleep on September 24 2003 at his home in Jerusalem.

Born in Bangalore, India, into a British military family, Derek was educated at Eton College and Cambridge University in England and later at Hebrew University, Israel. He was elected a fellow at King?s College, Cambridge.

Derek Prince taught and ministered on six continents over the course of seven decades. In 2002 he said, 'It is my desire-and I believe the Lord?s desire-that this ministry continue the work God began through me over 60 years ago until Jesus returns.' He is survived by 11 children and an extended family of over 150 people. He was 88.
